Who We Are

We are a leading garden machinery provider in the South West.

Welcome to Woodhouse Garden Machinery

We are a family business dedicated to the sale, service and repair of garden machinery throughout Devon and Cornwall.

We sell a comprehensive range of high quality garden machinery suitable for gardens of all sizes, including country estates and to meet the needs of professional contractors.

All prices quoted are on the basis that new machines are supplied fully assembled, inspected, tested, fuelled (where appropriate), ready to run and delivered free (subject to a minimum spend threshold) throughout Devon and Cornwall.

We service and repair garden machinery of all types and offer a collection and delivery service where this is required by the client – please see under ‘Servicing & Repairs’ for details of charging rates.

Why Buy Local?

Many customers, once they have visited our large, fully stocked showrooms, tell us that the opportunity to get hands on with the products and to ask questions of our knowledgeable staff, often makes a big difference to their buying decision.

Seeing an image of a product on-line and perhaps being overly focused on price, can lead to internet purchases that prove to be a disappointment. We all know how that feels!

By way of example, product weight and balance are often characteristics that can only properly be appreciated by holding the machine in your hands. But there are so many other aspects too.

So, when you are contemplating a purchase give us a call to chat things through. And if you can, come and see us. We are here to help!

In summary, buying local from Woodhouse Garden Machinery means:

  • A large showroom with the ability to get hands on with the products
  • Knowledgeable staff you can talk to face to face and by telephone
  • Your chosen purchase assembled and tested for you – we'll even dispose of the cardboard and register the product warranty on your behalf
  • Contactless delivery service available throughout our catchment area
  • A professional product handover to explain starting, fuelling, periodic maintenance etc
  • Expert engineers on site to set up and test your machine at purchase and to maintain and repair your machine to optimise its useful life.
